Use pattern fill in Zoho Sheet

The Pattern Fill feature in Zoho Sheet intelligently detects patterns in your data based on the hint you give and fills in values based on those patterns.

To use Pattern Fill:
  1. Establish a pattern by typing the desired output in any one of the cells in the adjacent column.
  2. Navigate to Data > Pattern Fill. The data will be displayed in all of the cells based on the pattern provided.  You can also use Cmd/Ctrl + E shortcut to open Pattern Fill. 
    Once the data is filled, you can tweak the input again, and the data in the remaining cells are regenerated.
  3. In the Pattern Fill dropdown, choose any of the desired options that you want to perform on the data filled in your cells:
  1. Accept Suggestions - The generated data will be accepted, and the Pattern Fill option will be revoked for the entire column and the data won't be generated further. If you wish to restart the process, follow steps 1 and 2
  2. Select all blank cells - This will identify the number of blank cells in the data generated. This occurs when blank cells are accidentally present in the source column. Use this option to fill these cells manually or apply any other desired formatting.
  3. Select all changed cells - This will select all the cells where data is generated. Use this option if you wish to apply any type of formatting to these cells.
