Using the Zoho Sheet browser extension and web clipper
You can download and install the Zoho Sheet web clipper on Chrome and FireFox. Zoho Sheet's browser extension makes it easier to work with your spreadsheets . Here's how you can use it.
To create a new spreadsheet
- Click on the Zoho Sheet web clipper icon on your browser.
- Click on the New Spreadsheet option.
To access the list of your templates
- Click on the Zoho Sheet web clipper icon on your browser.
- Click on the My Templates option.
- You will be taken to your templates in the listing page, from where you can choose which to template to work with.
To import a spreadsheet to Zoho Sheet
- Click on the Zoho Sheet web clipper icon on your browser.
- Click on the Import Spreadsheet option.
- You can either drag and drop the spreadsheet into the web clipper menu, or click on it to be able to browse and upload the spreadsheet you want.
To access a recently used spreadsheet
- Click on the Zoho Sheet web clipper icon on your browser.
- The web clipper shows you four of your most recent spreadsheets. You can choose one of them to work on.
- If the spreadsheet that you're looking for isn't part of the list, click on View all, and the web clipper will open your Zoho Sheet listing page with all your spreadsheets.
To download a recently used spreadsheet
- Click on the web clipper icon on your browser.
- From the list of recently accessed spreadsheet, hover on the one that you want to download.
- Click on the download icon near the name of the spreadsheet.
To clip data from a webpage and copy it to a spreadsheet
- Select data from any webpage that you want to copy to a spreadsheet.
- Right click, and from the right click menu, hover over the Copy to Zoho Sheet option.
- Choose if you want to copy it to a New Spreadsheet or to a spreadsheet that you'd accessed recently.
When you download a spreadsheet file of any
Zoho Sheet
supported format, Zoho Sheet's extension will automatically give you an option to import the sheet to Zoho Sheet and open it.
