Pivot charts, like the name suggests, lets you visualize the data while simultaneously letting you slice and dice the data just like a pivot table. Like any other chart, you can even customize how a pivot charts looks.

 

Creating a pivot chart

1. Click on the pivot table you want to create a pivot chart out of.
2. Click on the pivot table icon on the side pane.
3. Go to the Customize tab.
4. Click on the Pivot Chart button.
   

 

Customizing a pivot chart

1. Click on the pivot chart that you want to customize.
2. Click on the pivot chart icon on the side pane.
3. Go to the Customize tab.
4. From there, you can customize the pivot chart however you want.
   

Filter data in the pivot chart

1. Click on the pivot chart you want to filter.
2. The available filters will appear next to the chart based on the data series you have as the rows, columns and filters on your pivot table.
   
3. Click on any of the filter options, and choose only the data series you want in the chart.
