Insert or delete cells, rows or columns in a sheet
To insert a column or a row:
Select the column or row before which you want to insert a new column or a row.
Tap the
icon.
Go to the Home menu.
Tap the Insert & Delete option.
From there, choose to Insert Column or Insert Row.
Alternatively, you can insert a column or row via contextual menu as well.
To delete a column or a row:
Select the column or row you want to delete.
Tap the
icon.
Go to the Home menu.
Tap the Insert & Delete option.
From there, choose to Delete selected the row or column.
Alternatively, you can delete a column or row via contextual menu as well.
To insert a cell range:
Select the cell range above/before which you want to insert cells.
Tap the
icon.
Go to the Home menu.
Tap the Insert & Delete option.
Choose if you want to Insert & Shift Cells Right or Insert & Shift Cells Down.
You can also insert a cell range via the contextual menu.
Select the cell or cell range you want to delete.
Tap the
icon.
Go to the Home menu.
Tap the Insert & Delete option.
Choose if you want to Delete & Shift Cells Left or Delete & Shift Cells Up.
Otherwise, you can delete a cell range via contextual menu as well.
