Shift cells down/right


To shift cells in your spreadsheet:
  1. Select the cell you wish to shift.
  2. Right-click on the cell, and select Insert > Shift cells Down/Right from the contextual menu.
  3. Alternatively, go to Home > Insert and select Shift cells Right/Down from the drop-down.

Shift cells up/left


To shift cells in your spreadsheet:
  1. Select the cell you wish to delete.
  2. Right-click on the cell and select Delete  > Shift cells Up/Left from the contextual menu.
  3. Alternatively, go to Home > Delete  and select Shift cells Up/Left from the drop-down.
