Merge your cells

Merge cells lets you combine two or more cells into a single, larger cell. It is often used to title a group of related cells.
 
To merge cells in your spreadsheet:
  1. Select the cell range you wish to merge.
  2. Under the Home menu, click .
  3. Select any desired merging option from the available options.
Notes
  1.  When merged, only the content from the upper-left cell is retained.
  2. Cells within a table can't be merged.
