Create charts to visualize your data

How to create a chart

To create a chart:

Select the range of cells you want to visualize.
Go to Insert and select a chart type of your choice.
Select the chart and click the Chart icon from the side pane to edit the chart type, design, title, legend, color scheme, and more.

The following chart types are available:

Bar Chart
Column Chart
Line Chart
Pie Chart
Scatter Chart
Area Chart
Web Chart
Bubble Chart
Stock Chart
Time series
Guage Charts
Pareto Chart
Waterfall Chart
Wordcloud Chart
Histogram

How to change the title of a chart

To change the title of a chart:

Select the chart and click the Chart icon in the side pane.
Go to the Format tab in the side pane and enter a title.
Alternatively, you can double-click the chart to open the edit window. Then, click on the chart title to modify it.

How to change color scheme of a chart

To change color scheme:

Select the chart and click the Chart icon in the side pane.
Go to Design > Styles.
Choose color schemes from the options or create a custom style that fits your need.

How to change the transparency of a chart

To change the transparency of a chart:

Select the chart and click the Chart icon in the side pane.
Go to Design > Styles.
Adjust the transparency using the slider.

How to Aggregate elements of a chart

To aggregate elements of a chart:

Select the chart and click the Chart icon in the side pane.
Go to Data > Aggregate.
You can choose any of the listed functions, based on which the chart elements will be aggregated.

How to publish a chart

To publish a chart:

Right-click on the chart you wish to publish.
Select Publish from the contextual menu.
Use the code snippet to embed or publish your chart.
To unpublish a chart, right-click on the chart and click Unpublish from the contextual menu.

How to save a chart as an image

To save a chart as an image:

Right-click on the chart and select Save as Image from the contextual menu.
The chart is saved as a Portable Network Graphics (.png) image to your device.

How to delete a chart

To delete a chart:

Right-click on the chart and select Delete from the contextual menu.
Alternatively, select the chart and hit the Delete key.
