How to get insights by Zia

Zia analyzes your data set to provide insights like charts, summaries, pivot tables and more. Here's how you can draw quick insights about your data using Zia:
  1. Select the cell range/data you wish to draw insights from.
  2. Go to Data > Insights by Zia .
  3. Scroll through different insights like charts, summaries and more in the side pane.
  4. Click the +   icon to insert charts by Zia directly into your sheet.
  5. Use the options below each chart to switch to a different chart type.
  6. Use the Ask Zia field to ask questions.
  7. Alternatively, you can click the Zia icon from the side pane to access Zia directly.

How to get your data refined by Zia

Zia analyzes your data set and assists with data cleaning by identifying duplicates, missing values, mismatches and more. Here's how you can use Zia to refine your data set:
  1. Select the cell range/data you wish to draw insights from.
  2. Navigate to Data > Insights by Zia > Refine.
  3. Based on your data set, Zia will come up with suggestions for missing values, duplicate records, columns with multiple data types and more.
  4. Select, edit and apply data cleaning suggestions as you prefer.
Notes
Zia helps you find columns with multiple data types (number, date, text, etc.), whereas this option is not available in the data cleaning tool itself.
In addition to the above data refining suggestion, Zia will also help you
  1. Get AI-recommended charts and pivots for your data
  2. Get formatting suggestions for your data

How to get formatting suggestions from Zia

Zia analyzes your data set and suggests formatting options like checkbox, picklist, conditional formatting and more. To get formatting suggestions from Zia:
 
  1. Select the cell range/data you wish to draw insights from.
  2. Navigate to Data > Insights by Zia    > Format.
  3. Based on your data set, you'll get formatting suggestions like a checkbox, picklist or conditional formats to add.
  4. Click the + icon to add the suggestions to your sheet.
  5. Click the Edit icon to edit the suggested formats.
