Create a picklist in a spreadsheet

To create a drop-down list or picklist:

 

  1. Select the desired cell range to apply the picklist.

  2. Go to the  icon.

  3. Under the Insert menu, choose Picklist>Create List.

  4. Enter the values for the drop-down list and apply any desired formats.

These formats will be applied on the cell by default based on the chosen drop-down value.

  1. You can sort the list using the  icon.

  2. Once all the desired values and formats have been given, tap Done.

  3. Alternatively, to create a picklist, select the desired cell range and follow steps 2 to 4.

 

You can choose a value from the picklist to appear as the default value by tapping on the radio button next to it
