Conditional formatting is all about highlighting data that are based on certain conditions. Zoho Sheet supports three types of conditional formatting, namely, Classic, Color Scale and Icon Set.
To apply classic:
- Select the range of cells you wish to apply classic conditional formatting to.
- Tap under the Home menu.
- Select Classic from the options.
- Select the cell range, set the criteria, and choose any formatting options from the Classic dialog.
- Once you're done, tap OK.
To apply color scale:
- Select the range of cells you wish to apply color scale to.
- Tap under the Home menu.
- Select Color Scale under the Conditional Formatting menu.
- From the dialog, select the range you wish to add color scale to.
- Pick the desired color from the available color range or customize the color. Specify the values for Minimum, Midpoint and Maximum parameters.
- Once you're done, tap OK.
Type - The type of value for which you wish to apply color scale. For example, number, percentage, formula, etc.
Value - The minimum, midpoint and maximum values you wish to apply color scale to.
Color - The color you wish to apply for minimum, midpoint and maximum values.
Hide Cell Content - To hide the cell content or not once the color scale is applied.
Automatic Text Color - To apply the current font color in the worksheet to the values or stick to the default font color.
To apply icon set:
- Select the range of cells you wish to apply the icon set to.
- Tap under the Home menu.
- Select Icon Set from the options.
- From the dialog, select the sheet you wish to add icon sets, pick the type of icons, and other parameters like Rules, Values and Types.
- Once you're done, tap OK.
Icons - The type of icon set you wish to indicate the values.
Display Icon - The type of icon you wish to indicate each value.
Rules - The rules you wish to apply for the values.
Values - The minimum, midpoint and maximum values you wish to apply icon set to.
Types - The type of value for which you wish to apply icon set to. For example, number, percentage, formula, etc.
Reverse Icon Order - To reverse the order of the given display icons or not.
Hide Cell Content - To hide the cell content or not once the icons are applied.
Keep Default Icon Size - To maintain the default icon size or not when the font size of the respective cell is increased.
