Accept swap or offer request

In Zoho Shifts, review and accept requests from your coworkers to pick up their shifts when you’re available.

Before you start

  • Depending on the organization’s settings, your pick-up requests may require manager approval.
  • You'd be responsible for the shift only when the manager approves the request.
  • You can enable Shift swap/offer/drop requests notifications under my profile.

To accept a shift request

  1. Open the Zoho Shifts mobile app.
  2. Tap Request from the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select Swap or Offer tab.
  4. Tap the request you want to accept.
  5. Tap Accept.
On web
  1. Navigate to the Schedule > Requests.
  2. Select Swap or Offer tab.
  3. Open the request you want to accept.
  4. Click Accept.
 What happens next

When you accept a request, it may require manager approval, depending on your organization's settings:
  1. If manager approval is disabled, you will be responsible for the accepted shift.
  2. If manager approval is enabled, your manager can approve or deny the request.
    1. If approved, the new shift is assigned to you, and you’ll be responsible for the shift.
    2. If denied, the shift remains the requester's responsibility.
