Accept swap or offer request
In Zoho Shifts, review and accept requests from your coworkers to pick up their shifts when you’re available.
Before you start
- Depending on the organization’s settings, your pick-up requests may require manager approval.
- You'd be responsible for the shift only when the manager approves the request.
- You can enable Shift swap/offer/drop requests notifications under my profile.
To accept a shift request
- Open the Zoho Shifts mobile app.
- Tap Request from the bottom of your screen.
- Select Swap or Offer tab.
- Tap the request you want to accept.
- Tap Accept.
- Navigate to the Schedule > Requests.
- Select Swap or Offer tab.
- Open the request you want to accept.
- Click Accept.
- If manager approval is disabled, you will be responsible for the accepted shift.
- If manager approval is enabled, your manager can approve or deny the request.
- If approved, the new shift is assigned to you, and you’ll be responsible for the shift.
- If denied, the shift remains the requester's responsibility.
