Messaging

With the Messages tab in Zoho Shifts, you can chat with your employees, share files, and keep everyone on the same page about shift changes.

Before you start 

  1. Your organization must have enabled messaging.
  2. You must have permission to send direct messages to connect on private chats.

To start a chat

  1. Open the Zoho Shifts mobile app.
  2. Tap Messages from the bottom of your screen.
  3. Click the + icon available in the top-right corner.
  4. Select the employee you want to connect with.
This opens the employee's chat window. You can start messaging from here. To react, forward, or delete messages, use the More Actions icon next to the message.
On web
  1. Navigate to the Messages tab.
  2. In the Chats section, you'll find all recent chats and channels. Use the search bar to find a specific channel or an employee.
  3. Click a chat and start messaging.
