Request time off
To request time off, you need to submit a time off request in Zoho Shifts. Your request will then be approved or declined based on your organization's time off policies.
Before You Start
- Your organization must have enabled Time Off.
- You must have permission to "Add or edit your own time off."
- If you are not able to see any time off type, please get in touch with your administrator

To request time off
- Open the Zoho Shifts mobile app.
- Tap Request at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap on the + icon in the top-right corner.
- In the Request Time Off page, select a Time Off Type.
- Enable the All Day toggle for a full day off, or disable it for partial time off.
- Specify the start and end dates for an All day time off. Or choose a date and specify the start and end time for Partial day time off.
- Enter the reason (optional).
- Tap Request.
To view your time off request
- Go to Requests > Time Off on your mobile app.
- Select the request you want to view.
You can check its status, edit the request, add comments, or cancel it, depending on your requirements.
On web
To request time off
- Go to Schedule > My Schedule.
- Select the date you want to request time off for.
- Select the time off type.
- Select All Day for a full day off, or Partial for a partial day off.
- Specify start and end dates for All-day time off, or choose a date and provide start and end times for a Partial day off.
- Enter the reason (optional).
- Click Request.
To view your time off request
- Go to the Time Off tab.
- Select the request you want to view.
You can check its status, edit the request, add comments, or cancel it, depending on your requirements.
You can see your remaining balance for the time off type you've chosen.
