Manage open shift requests

Manage all employees’ open shift requests in one place. The Requests tab provides a quick overview, lets you review, comment, and approve or deny requests.t.

Before you start

To manage open shift requests, you’ll need the Administrator access level or the Approve swap, offer, and drop requests permission.

Go to Schedule > Requests.
Select the Open Shifts tab.
Click a request to view its details.
Add Your Comment (Optional).
Click Approve or Deny based on your requirements.

On mobile

Open the Zoho Shifts mobile app.
Tap Requests at the bottom of the screen.
Select the Open Shifts tab.
Tap a request to view its details.
Enter your Comment (Optional).
Tap Approve or Deny based on your requirements.

Once approved, open shifts are assigned to the employees who picked them. If declined, the shifts are not assigned and continue to remain open for other eligible employees.
