Configure blocked days
In Zoho Shifts, you can block specific days for work and restrict employees from requesting time off on those days. This helps you to ensure you have an adequate staff or workforce on the blocked days to cover your business needs.
Before you start
- You'll need the Manage account and other settings permission to configure blocked days.
- When you configure a blocked day, it will restrict employees from raising a time-off request on that particular day.
- When employees submit a time off request for a block, only future time off requests will have the effect of blocked days. Any previously requested time off will remain unaffected.
To add blocked days
- Navigate to Settings > Blocked Days.
- Click +Add Blocked Days.
- Enter the Reason.
- Choose the Start and End Dates.
- Click Save Blocked Days.
You can also edit or delete the existing blocked days using the respective options available beside the blocked days list.
