Before you start 

1. This feature works only when employees clock in/out using Zoho Shifts mobile apps.
   
2. To set up the GPS location tracking, you must have admin access or access level permission of Manage account and other settings to configure settings in your Zoho Shifts account.
   
3. Make sure your employees have proper setting enabled for GPS location on their mobile device. 
   

To setup the GPS location tracking in Zoho Shifts: 

1. Navigate to Settings -> Time & Attendance -> Time Clock.
   
2. Use the toggle beside Allow employees to clock in/out from mobile app to enable or disable web time clock.
   
3. Select the Track GPS location setting under the General section.
   
4. Click Save button at the bottom.
   

To view the tagged GPS location of the employee: 

1. Navigate to Timesheets -> All Timesheets.
   
2. Navigate to the time entry you wanted to view.
   
3. Click the map icon in the time entry to view the GPS co-ordinates for clock in and clock out.
   

Here is how your employees can enable the mobile app settings to get the precise location tagging.

For iOS device  

1. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Zoho Shifts > Location.
   
2. Under ALLOW LOCATION ACCESS, select 'While Using the App'.
   
3. Enable the Precise Location setting. 

For Android device  

1. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Zoho Shifts > Permissions > Location.
   
2. Select Allow only while using the app under the Location access of this app.
   
3. Enable the Use precise location setting.
