Apply Transition effects to the slides
A slide transition is the animation that occurs when one slide moves and another pops-out in a slideshow. These effects make your presentation look exciting and interesting. Each transition on Zoho Show has its own aesthetic effect.
Different Types of Transition
There are three categories of transition effects available in the Animate tab on the bottom bar:
- Serene - These effects provide a smooth and professional look to the slide.
For example the Fade effect dissolves the content on the slide.
- Flare - These effects work great if your slide has pictures and media files.
For example:
Fall - The current slide falls away, leaving the next slide in its place.
Pivot - The next slide rotates in from the corner of the previous slide.
- Zing - Adds some dynamic motion to reveal the upcoming slide. These effects bring life to your presentation.
For example:
Cover - Layers each new slide over the previous slide, as though they are pages in a book.
Cube - Rotates the current slide like a cube and presents the next slide on another face of the cube.
Apply Transition to Slide
- Select the slide you'd like to apply the transition to, then click the Animate tab on the bottom bar.

- Click Type in the Transition section and pick an effect. Click the back arrow to return to the Transition section.

- Pick a variant from the drop-down.

- Adjust the Duration slider to set a time frame for the effect. You can also enable the After check box and set a timing (using the Up and Down arrows) to advance the slides.
If you want to switch to a different transition effect, tap on the Type and choose a different effect. You can click the Preview button to preview the new effect.
You can use the Apply to All Slides option to apply the same transition effect and properties throughout the presentation.
