Format a slide

A slide includes text, shapes, charts, and other visual elements that help the audience understand the information presented. Customizing the slide can improve the overall design of your presentation. With the slide formatting options for Show app for Android, you can customize the layout, add a slide footer note, configure the slideshow settings, change the font and color scheme of the presentation, and do so much more. 

Tap on a slide and tap Format at the bottom. This will open the slide formatting options for that specific slide. 

 You can format the slide and the theme of the presentation. 

SLIDE 

Tap SLIDE.

Change layout

Tap Change Layout and tap to select the layout you prefer from the options available. 

Background Fill

  1. Tap Background Fill.
    This will take you to the Fill window. 
    1. Tap Follow Layout from the dropdown to follow the existing background of the layout. 
    2. Tap Solid Color, Gradient Color, Picture or Pattern to apply the respective fill pattern to the slide.

  2. Tap APPLY TO ALL SLIDES to apply the preferred fill option to all the slides in the presentation.

Hide background graphics

Tap Hide Background Graphics to remove all the slide elements from the slide.
  1. Check the Slide Number box to display the slide number of the slide. 
  2. Check the Footer Text box and enter the footer message in the space given below to include the content in the bottom of the slide.
  3. Check the Date box. You can choose to display a fixed date or automatically update the date in your slides.
    1. Tap the drop-down below the Date to select between Fixed and Automatic.
    2. Tap the date format drop down to select the date and time format you prefer.
  4. Tap Apply to All Slides to apply the slide footer settings to all the slides in the presentation.

Slideshow Setup

  1. Check the Loop Slide Show check box to play the presentation continuously. 
  2. Check the Disable Transition box to disable slide transition effect.
  3. Check the Disable Animation For Objects box to disable the animation effects for the slide objects. 

OPTIONS

  1. Toggle the Hide Slide switch to hide the selected slide during slideshow.
  2. Toggle the Lock Slide switch to ensure your collaborators do not edit the selected slide.

Edit Master Slide

Tap to edit the master slide according to your preference.

THEME

Tap THEME.

Change Theme

  1. Tap Change Theme.
  2. Tap to select your preferred theme from the options available, then tap the check mark icon in the top-right corner.

Font Scheme

Tap Font Scheme to select a header and a body font from the available theme fonts. 

Color Scheme

Tap Color Scheme to select the colors from the available theme colors.

Background Style

Tap to select a background style from the options available.

SLIDE SETUP

Size
Tap the dropdown to select the slide size according to your preference.
Orientation
Tap to view the slides in Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal) format.
