Open the presentation where you want to import the slide.
Select Slide from the top menu and click Import Slide.
In the Import Slide window that appears, browse or search for the presentation, then click the slides you want to import.
Under Choose Style which appears in the bottom-left of the Import Slide window, select how you want the imported slide to retain its formatting.
Keep source style with link: Retain the slide's original formatting and create a link to the source presentation. You can sync the imported slide with changes made to the source slide.
Keep source style: Retain the slide's original formatting without linking it to the source presentation.
Use destination style: Applies the theme, fonts, colors, and other formatting of the current presentation to the imported slide.
Note: When you import a slide using Keep source style with link, changes made to the source slide can be synced with the imported slide. Select Import Slide.
The selected slide is inserted into your presentation and appears in the left pane.
Note: Imported slides can remain linked to their source presentation. Changes made to the source slide can then be synced with the imported slide. Manage linked slides
When a slide is imported with a source link, it is marked as Source Linked in the left pane.
You can manage the link from the Source Linked section in the right pane. You can:
Sync the slide to bring the latest changes from the source presentation
Open the source presentation to view or edit the original slide
Detach the slide to unlink it from the source presentation
Detach an imported slide
Select the source-linked slide.
Go to Source Linked in the right pane.
Select the Detach icon . A confirmation window will appear.
Check All Imported Slides to detach all imported slides from their source presentations and click Continue.
The slide is no longer connected to the source presentation. Any future changes made to the source slide will not be reflected in the imported slide.
