Step-by-step instructions to connect Zoho Show to Claude using a custom connector. Covers prerequisites, regional server URLs, the sign-in process, and what happens when you authenticate.
Before you begin
You need:
- A Zoho Show account
- Access to the presentations or teams you want the AI assistant to work with
- A Claude plan that supports connectors
- The Show MCP server URL for your Zoho Show data center (see below)
Show MCP server URLs
Use the URL that matches the Zoho Show data center where your account and data are hosted.
Your Zoho Show account and data must be in the same data center as the MCP server URL you use.
Option A — Set up from Claude Marketplace
This section will be updated once the Zoho Show connector is available in Claude Marketplace.
Option B — Set up as a custom connector in Claude
Use this method if Zoho Show is not yet listed in Claude Marketplace, or if you want to connect directly using your Zoho Show data center URL.
- Open Claude and go to Customize.
- Open Connectors.
- Click + or Add connector and select Add custom connector.
- Enter the Zoho Show MCP server URL for your data center.
- Leave OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret in Advanced settings blank — Zoho Show MCP handles authentication automatically.
- Click Add, then click Connect to authenticate.
- When prompted on the Zoho Accounts page for consent, click Accept.
Zoho Show MCP is now connected to your Claude account. You can start a new chat and verify by clicking the + icon to confirm the connector appears.
What happens during sign-in
When you connect Show MCP, Claude starts a secure OAuth sign-in flow.
- You do not create an API key.
- You do not paste an access token.
- You do not create a client secret.
- Claude does not receive your Zoho Show password.
After you approve access, Claude receives permission to call Zoho Show MCP tools on your behalf. Zoho Show validates each request using your Zoho Show account and your Zoho Show permissions.
