Session Recording
What are the internet specifications for conducting remote sessions?
We recommend that you have an internet connection with at least 3 Mbps speed. At this speed, your recorded remote sessions will be available for download at a resolution of 1024x720.
Does ShowTime have session recording?
Yes, ShowTime lets you record your remote sessions.
Can I start and stop recording my session at any time?
Yes, you can record multiple sections of a remote session at any time after you click Start Broadcast.
NOTE: Every time you click start and stop recording, a video file corresponding to that recorded time will be created in the Recordings tab in the left pane of your screen.
How do I view a session recording?
You can find all your session recordings in the Recordings tab in the left pane of your screen. You can also find the recording for each session in the Sessions tab.
- Click Sessions tab in the left pane of your screen.
- Click Completed Sessions.
- Scroll and choose your desired session.
- Click View Analytics.
Can I download my session recording?
Yes, you can download them and send them as an email to your attendees and also promote them on your website.
How soon is my session recording available?
Your session recording will be available after a few minutes.
How long are the session recordings available?
Session recordings will be available until you delete them.
Can I record any session in ShowTime?
No, you can only record your remote sessions.
How can I record a session?
When you click Start Broadcast on your remote session.
Is there any technical requirement required to record my session?
No, you will not need anything.
What are the screen activities that gets recorded when I record my session?
Recordings capture the audio, video, slide 'likes', questions posed, polls conducted, chat conversation, and any content that is shared during a session.
In which format will my recording be available in?
All the recordings will be available in the Mp4 format.
Can I record my session when I am in the free plan?
No. Recording is available only in the paid plans.
Will I be charged for recording my sessions?
Yes, you will be charged for the storage space of the recorded videos. It is as shown below
- Standard - 5 GB
- Professional - 10 GB
- Enterprise - 25 GB
How can I share the recorded sessions with my attendees?
You can send the recorded video directly to your registrants' email. To send the email, follow these steps
- Navigate to the Completed Sessions tab.
- Click the session that you wish to share.
- In the Recording segment, click the Send button.
