Customize certificates in Zoho ShowTime
Certification can be used to incentivize learner participation and success. Awarding a learner a certificate when they successfully complete a training gives them a tangible reward that can be used to promote your trainings. Zoho ShowTime makes it easy to import and customize certificates that can be awarded to attendees once they attend a training. This certificate can be printed and download helping them progress through the sessions with a sense of achievement.

Create a certificate
1. After creating a session, click on the Certificate tab and click on Create Certificate.
2. You can choose designs from the Landscape or the Portrait templates and click on Select to edit the certificate or Preview to preview the certificate. In the preview mode, you can edit the certificate by clicking on the Select Design button on the top right.

Using the certificate edit option, you can change the background image, page padding options, Landscape or Portrait modes, etc. Zoho ShowTime offers six design elements that can be used in your certificate.
You can also use variables like Session Name, Session Date, Trainer Name, Organization Name, Attendee Name, etc.
Here are the six design elements that you can use for customization:
1. Heading tab: To provide a heading to the certificate. You can change the font size, color, type, background color, text alignment, spacing, etc.
2. Paragraph: To add a paragraph to your certificate. You can change the font size, color, type, background color, text alignment, spacing, etc.
3. Image: To add an image. You can choose from ShowTime's gallery or use your own design from the computer.
4. Section: To add sections (similar to newspaper-style columns). You can edit the number of columns, the ratio, spacing, border style, etc.
5. Spacer: To add an empty space in the certificate.
6. Tables: To add a table to the certificate. You can insert, delete rows/columns and can change the font size, color, type, background color, text alignment, spacing, etc. of the content typed inside the cells.

After editing and finalizing the design of the certificate, you can mail yourself a sample certificate to have a preview of how it looks for your trainers.
Issue certificates to your learners
1. Once you customize the certificate and your training ends, you can issue certificates to all attendees by clicking on the People.
2. Select the leaner's names manually using the checkbox and click on Issue Certificate.
