Zapier App Integration with Zoho ShowTime

Zapier is an automation platform that easily moves information across your web applications. You can connect Zoho ShowTime to many other apps and services, including SuveyMonkey, MailChimp, Linkedin, Leadgen, and more. It enables you to automate your entire workflow by copying and moving your data between Zoho ShowTime and other online applications.

Important terms to remember:
  1. An integration between two apps is called a Zap.
  2. A trigger is an initial event that happens in one app.
  3. An action is the event that Zapier automatically performs in another app based on that trigger.

Triggers and Actions supported by Zoho ShowTime

You can design zaps where Zoho ShowTime is the trigger (i.e., creating a new session in Zoho ShowTime triggers an automated action), and where Zoho ShowTime is the action (i.e., doing something in another app/service will automatically trigger the creation of a new session in Zoho ShowTime). Let's look at the various triggers and actions supported by Zoho ShowTime.

Triggers supported:

  1. New session is created: when a training is created.
  2. New trainee joins: when a registrant joins the training.
  3. New trainee registers: when your training has a new registrant.

Actions supported:

  1. Enroll a registrant: Registers a new trainee for your training session.
  2. Invite people: Send an invitation email to your prospects to your training session.
  3. Create a new session: Creates a new training session

Making a Zap

As an example, let's say you want a campaign to be sent in Mailchimp whenever a new session is created in Zoho ShowTime. Here's how you wpuld go about it:

1. Log in to your Zapier account, or create an account if you don't have one already.

2. Click Make a Zap!. Select Zoho ShowTime as your Trigger app and select New Session as the trigger.

3. Add your Zoho ShowTime account to Zapier to connect with its services. Click Connect an Account. The next time you create a Zap using Zoho ShowTime, you can use the same account again without needing to reconnect.

4. Choose a subsequent action in the connecting application. (i.e, Mailchimp)

Here, the action you'll need to select is Send Campaign in Mailchimp.

5. Connect your Mailchimp account and add filters, if required.

6.  Connect Zoho ShowTime and Mailchimp to activate your connection.

7. Test the Zap, then turn it on when you're ready.

Now, every time a session is created in Zoho ShowTime, a campaign will be sent to your designated list of subscribers in Mailchimp.
