Share private extensions

Private extensions published in Sigma can be shared with different service portals. Unlike public extensions, in private extensions the developers get to choose various service portals to which they want to share the extension. Sharing private extensions also ensures the extension's privacy and security.
 
This feature is enabled only for Zoho Projects' extensions.

To share a private extension:  
  1. Navigate to Extensions in the left panel.
  2. Hover over a private extension you want to share and click  .
  3. Navigate to the Share tab and click on the Share Extension button.
  4. Enter the service portal details:
    1. Portal Name : Enter the service’s portal name to share the extension.
    2. Admin Email Address : Enter the portal admin’s email address.
  5. Click Share.
 


A confirmation email will be sent to the portal admin requesting them to accept access for the extension. If the admin accepts access, the installation URL will be emailed.  



Note:
  1. Confirmation email can be resent only up to 3 times.
  2. The installed extension can be accessed by all users in the portal.
  3. Once an extension is shared, its consecutive versions are also authorized for access by the portal admin, provided the version’s URL is available.

Revoke extension sharing

The extension developer has control to revoke access to a shared extension. To revoke the access,
  1. Navigate to Extensions in the left panel.
  2. Hover over a shared extension to which you want to revoke the access and click  .
  3. Navigate to the Share tab.
  4. Hover over the portal name and click .
  5. Confirm your action.
