To apply a solid colored background:

1. Click the Element on your website to which you want to add a background
   
2. Click the  settings icon on your chosen element and navigate to the Style Editor   section.
3. Expand Background. To add a background to a specific element or portion, under the Background Type dropdown, choose Solid color.
   
   
   
4. Choose a color to be applied to the background.
