The Reports tab in Zoho Social consists of various metrics and statistics that convey information about a business' social media channels. The sharing of reports to the various people involved in social media, such as social media managers and social media analysts, plays a huge role in enabling better and more accurate decision-making. With the availability of these indicators, communication among stakeholders is much easier and data points help to drive better social reach.
Cards and specific network reports, or the entire Reports section can be exported as different file formats like PNG, PDF, or CSV files on Zoho Social.
Feature Availability
You can only export Reports on a Premium, Agency, and Agency Plus Plans.
To Export Cards
If you'd like to export a particular card in a PDF or PNG format, to keep a copy of the file on your computer, follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Click on the ellipsis that appears on a particular card under a network report.
- Select Export as PDF or Export as PNG from the drop-down that appears.
To Export Report Sections
If you'd like to export the entire Report Section in a PDF or PNG format, to keep a copy of the file on your computer, follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Select the Export button on the top right corner of the page.
- Now, select Export as PDF or Export as PNG from the drop-down.
Bulk export
The bulk export feature under the Reports module lets you export the reports data as CSV(Comma Separated Value) files. A CSV file is a commonly used file extension to exchange data between applications. The Reports data is grouped into different CSV files based on page-related metrics and post-related metrics. Each file consists of data specific to the network, gathered over a period of time. The network-based CSV files are listed below:

Why is data being grouped into files?
- Users can easily comprehend the information based on the specific network, interactions and date
- This method of grouping data is different from the existing way in the product and will give a different perspective into analytics.
- Data comparison is made easier and more extensive.
You can bulk export reports for Facebook Page, Twitter Profile, LinkedIn Company Page, Google Business Profile, Instagram Profile, YouTube Channel, and TikTok Profile.
To export Reports as CSV
To export the entire Reports data as CSV files, follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Select the Export button in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Bulk Export as CSV.
- Choose the channels you want to export the reports for.
- Choose the time period you want to download the reports for.
You can bulk export up-to 90 days of existing reports data.
Emailing Reports
You can choose to email Cards and Report Sections to your team members or clients. You can also send individual Cards or an entire Report Section as an email.
Sending Cards as an email
If you'd like to directly send Cards as an email to people outside Zoho Social, you can follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Click on the ellipsis that appears on a particular card under a network report.
- Select Send as Email from the drop-down that appears.
- You can enter details such as the Recipient's Email Address, Subject, Message, set the format as PDF or PNG, choose to set a password, and then click Send.
Sending Report Sections as an email
If you'd like to directly send the entire Report Section as an email to people outside Zoho Social, you can follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Select the Email button on the top right corner of the page and click Send as Mail.
- You can enter details such as the Recipient's Email Address, Subject, Message, set the format as PDF or PNG, choose to set a password, etc., and then click Send.
You can also select the Send Me a Copy checkbox if you would wish to keep a copy of the email you send to your teammates or clients for yourself too.
Password Protection:
Password protection is available for any personal information that has to be exported as an Email to anyone outside Zoho Social. You can choose to password-protect files when you email a Custom Report to the Brand Users or Clients. If a custom report is password-protected when it's emailed, the receiver will only be able to download and open it after entering the password set by the sender. This password can be changed each time a Custom Report is sent as an email.
- The password should contain at least six characters.
- You can enable the Password Protect option by clicking on the check box and set up your password. You can then share the Dashboard via email with your team.
Scheduling Reports
You can also choose to schedule Cards and Network Reports for your team members or clients. You can schedule Reports to your team on a weekly or monthly basis without having to send an email every time you want to share important stats with your team. You can schedule individual Cards or an entire Report Section.
Scheduling Cards
To schedule Cards for your team for a period of time, follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Click on the ellipsis that appears on a particular card under a network report.
- Select Schedule from the drop-down that appears.
- You can fill in the scheduling requirements by selecting team members, setting a date range, time, and format— PDF or PNG, and then Schedule.
Schedule Report Sections
To schedule Report Sections with your team, follow these steps:
- Click the Reports tab on your dashboard.
- Choose your desired social channel (e.g., Facebook Page) from the top bar on your screen.
- Select the Email button on the top right corner of the page and click Schedule.
- You can fill in the scheduling requirements by selecting team members, setting a date range, time, and format— PDF or PNG, and then Schedule.
You can schedule Reports on Zoho Social if you are on a Premium, Agency, and Agency Plus Plans.
Managing Scheduled Reports
Follow these steps to view a list of all the scheduled Reports on Zoho Social:
- Click on the Reports tab.
- Select the Scheduled Reports icon from the top bar on your screen.
- You can now view a list of all the Scheduled Reports created by you or shared with you
- You can also view the Date Range, Frequency, File Type, and Recipients for each Scheduled Report.
