Connecting Bluesky with Zoho Social
To connect Bluesky in Zoho Social
- Go to Settings -> Social Channels and click Connect next to Bluesky Profile.

Alternatively, you can click the Bluesky icon in the Add more channels section under Brand Health to start connecting.

- Connect your Bluesky account by providing the username and app password.
- Click Connect Bluesky to connect your account to Social.

The app password generated from your Bluesky account is necessary for third-party apps like Zoho Social to access your account and its details.
To generate the app password in your Bluesky account
- Go to Settings -> Privacy and Security.
- Click App passwords, then click Add app password.

- Add a name to identify this password.
- Tick the checkbox to provide Social with direct access to your messages, then click Next.

- Copy the app password displayed, then click Done.
You can access your Bluesky messages via Social's Inbox and Messages tab only if the permission is provided in the log-in screen.Image |

To publish posts to Bluesky
- Click New Post in the top-right corner of your Social dashboard to start composing.
- Choose the desired channels you want to publish on. You can choose multiple channels or just Bluesky.
- Click
to attach images or a video to your post. You can attach the media file from your Desktop, Media Library, Cloud Picker options like Zoho Workdrive, Google Drive, box, OneDrive, Dropbox, Evernote or Zoho Notebook, or you can design the image on Canva and attach it directly.
- Write a suitable caption for your post. You can use the Compose with Zia feature to draft a suitable caption for your post just by giving a prompt.
- Click
to attach hashtags to the caption.
- Click
to add emojis to the caption.

to add alternate text to your image.
- Type @ followed by the Bluesky profile name, or choose the right profile from the drop-down if you want to mention any profile in your caption.
- Publish the post immediately using the Post now option, or schedule it using any of the available scheduling options like Schedule for a Specific Date, Add to Queue, or Choose a SmartQ slot.
View posts
You can view your drafts, published, scheduled, unpublished posts, posts awaiting approval, and your planned Social calendar for Bluesky under the Posts tab.
To monitor Post Stats
The post metrics available for the Bluesky profile are likes, replies, reposts, quotes, engagement, engagement rate, and engagement distribution.
- Go to the Posts tab. Under Published Posts, click your Bluesky profile.
- In the view of published posts, click the post you want to check the statistics for.
- Click the Post Stats tab to view all the metrics for the post.
You can publish or schedule posts to your Bluesky profile from the Zoho Social web, iOS and Android mobile applications.
