Creating Facebook Stories

You can add a Story to Facebook directly from the Zoho Social web application either by uploading an image or video from the Desktop, Media Library or other available cloud options; or create a Story directly using Canva or Social's Image Editor. You can also upload an image from your gallery, or create a story from scratch from your Android and iOS mobile applications. You can experiment with various filters and styles, apply enhancements or set a specific tone, and share the Story with your audience. You can use this platform to get as creative as you want and stay in the mind of your audience.

Feature Availability

You can create Facebook Stories directly from Zoho Social if you're on plans Standard, Professional, Premium, Agency, and Agency Plus subscriptions.

To create a Story from Zoho Social on Facebook

From the Web application:

  1. Click the drop-down next to New Post and click Stories. 



  2. Choose the networks you want to publish the Story to from the available networks (Facebook and Instagram).
  3. Upload the media directly from Desktop, Media Library, or Cloud Picker like Zoho Workdrive, Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Dropbox, Evernote, or Zoho Notebook. You can also design the Story from Canva directly from scratch. 



  4. You can also create a Story using the Image Editor; by adding a background color; then uploading a photo to it.
  5. Once the media has been uploaded, you can hover over it and click the  icon to preview the Story before you publish it.
  6. Click Post Now to publish it immediately, or schedule it for later using one of the scheduling options. 

    You can view these stories under the Posts tab by filtering them based on the network, and by clicking .

The Story that's live on Facebook at present, will be displayed with a LIVE tag next to it. 

From the mobile application:

  1. Select Facebook and tap 
  2. Click Create Story to create a story to Facebook.
  3. Select an image from your mobile gallery to upload it as a story, or use your camera to capture an image. 
  4. Select Create to create an image from scratch.
  5. Use the available tools like adding text, stickers, images, change colors, crop, add filters and enhancements to customize your image for the story, and click Save.
  6. Hit Preview to preview the image before posting it.
  7. Click Edit to edit the image for any changes and then click Save. 
  8. Click Next to choose the appropriate publishing option, and publish the story to see it live.
  1. You can publish one Story to Facebook currently from the Zoho Social web or mobile application via direct publishing.
  2. Facebook doesn't support Manual Publishing.
