1. Upload media
   This option lets you upload an image or video from your Desktop, Media Library, or a Cloud Picker, such as Zoho WorkDrive, Google Drive, box, OneDrive, or Dropbox. You can also design an image from Canva. You can upload 1 media file and publish it right away using direct publishing or up to 10 media files using manual publishing. It can be a combination of videos and images. 
   
   
2. Create a story from scratch
   This option lets you create a story on a blank canvas by selecting an appropriate background color or image. You can also add text or stickers, apply filters, and adjust image composition, such as brightness, contrast, saturation, and more.
   
   

Update the Zoho Social mobile application to the latest version from the Play Store or App Store before creating Stories from the web application for manual publishing.

Direct Publishing

1. Click the drop-down next to New Post and choose Instagram Story.
   
   
2. Upload the media directly from your Desktop, Media Library, or a Cloud Picker, such as Zoho WorkDrive, Google Drive, box, OneDrive, Dropbox or create an image or video from Canva. You can also select the Create option to draft a story from scratch. 
   
   
3. Click Publish Now to publish the story right away or schedule the post if required. 

Manual Publishing

1. You want to add more than one story at the same time
   
2. Add a caption to your story
   
3. Your media files don't fit the requirements of the network

Note

1. You can add up to 10 media items in your Stories via manual publishing.
   
2. Make sure that the notifications are enabled in your Zoho Social mobile app to publish stories on Instagram manually. 
   

1. Click the drop-down next to New Post and select Instagram Story.
   
2. Enable the toggle in the compose window to allow Manual Publishing. 
   
   
3. To upload media, do the following:
   
1. Click Upload and select an option from the drop-down list to add the images and videos.
   
2. Click Attach.
4. To create an image from scratch, do the following:
   
1. Click Create.
2. Select an appropriate background color and click Upload a Photo to add an image. 
   
   
3. Click the Text icon to add text to the story.
   
   
4. Add stickers, apply filters, and adjust image composition as required, then click Save.
   
5. Hover over the image and click the Preview icon to view how the story will appear on Instagram.
   
   
6. Select the Text ()icon to add a caption to the story and click Add.
   
   
7. Select the Edit () icon to customize your image and click Save.
   
8. Select the appropriate publishing option and click Post Now or Schedule. 
   You will receive a notification on your mobile immediately if you choose Publish Now, or at the scheduled date and time if you schedule it for later. 
   
   
   
9. Open the Zoho Social mobile app and go to Publishing Notifications ().
   
10. Select the notification to publish a story on your Instagram account. Make sure you are logged in to Instagram with the appropriate account. 
    
    
11. Tap Open Instagram button.
    
    
12. Select Copy Content and add it to the relevant stories.
    
13. Customize the story and hit Share once ready.

Creating stories from the mobile application

1. Select the Instagram channel icon and tap New Post  button.
   
2. Select Create Story.
   
3. Capture or select the media item from the gallery.
   You can also select Create option to create a story from scratch.
   
   
4. Choose from various list of tools available to customize your image and hit Save.
   
   
5. Tap the Preview icon to view how the story will appear on Instagram.
   
   
6. Select the Text icon to add a caption to the story and click Save.
   
7. Select the Edit icon to customize your image and click Save.
   
8. If you've only added one media file, you can publish the story directly from Zoho Social. Upon adding more than one media file, you will automatically be directed to publish through the Manual Publishing flow. 
9. Tap Next.
   
10. Use the toggle available in the compose screen to switch between manual and direct publishing according to your requirements. 
    
11. Select the appropriate publishing option.
    
12. To publish it right away, do the following:
    
1. Tap Publish Now.
   
2. In the Ready to manual publish popup? click Proceed.
   
3. Read the steps and click Open Instagram and select Instagram Stories.
   
4. Switch to the Zoho Social app and tap Copy Content to copy the caption if any and add it to your story on Instagram.
   
5. Tap Share. 
   

If you choose to schedule the story, you will receive a notification at the time of publishing, and you can continue publishing from the Instagram mobile app.

View stories created from Social

1. Go to the Posts tab and select the Instagram channel.
   
2. Select the Stories () icon to view all the stories.
   
3. Select Promoted Posts, Scheduled Posts, Approvals, Unpublished posts, or Drafts.
   
4. Click the Calendar icon to view the publishing calendar.
