Bulk Scheduler - Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to bulk schedule posts for Instagram?
Yes, you can bulk schedule posts to all connected social channels on Zoho Social, including Instagram.
The CSV/ .XLS/ .XLSX file you upload should include this info:
- Schedule time (Mandatory)
- Channels
- Post Content (Mandatory)
- Link
- Media {image1, image2... image10}
- GMB Button Name
- GMB Link
Please make sure to add at least one image URL to go along with your Instagram and Pinterest post.
Can I bulk schedule posts on Google My Business?
Yes, you can bulk schedule your content to all your connected social channels- including your Google My Business listing. All you have to do is, click on Bulk Schedule from the New Post button on your Home screen or the Posts tab.
You may optionally add a call to action button such as Learn More, Sign up, Order online, Book and Buy to go along with your post. Learn more about bulk scheduling your posts.
Do I need to create a spreadsheet for each social channel when I bulk-schedule posts?
You can bulk schedule posts for all connected social channels by uploading a single spreadsheet on the Bulk Scheduler. You don't have to create separate spreadsheets for each social channel.
How many posts can I schedule at a time, using Bulk Scheduler?
There is no limit on the number of posts you can schedule using the Bulk Scheduler. However, you can add up to 350 posts in a file to be scheduled across different social channels. You can customize the date and time for each of these posts in advance
To do this, you can access the Bulk Scheduler by clicking the drop-down next to New Post and follow the instructions on the screen.
How do I schedule image posts using bulk scheduler in Zoho Social?
Please note that Bulk Scheduler is available on the Professional Plan and above.
You cannot upload images directly from your system. It's necessary to save your images as public URLs and mention them in the spreadsheet and we'll directly extract the image from the web.
You can use websites such as https://ctrlq.org/images/ and https://imgur.com/ to host your images on the web and generate publicly accessible links for the respective images. Select the image from your storage and upload the image to the above service, to host it. Once this is done, you can copy the Image URL (Copy Image Address or Open Image in a new tab) and paste it in the 4th column (titled 'Image URL') in the Bulk Scheduler CSV/XLS file.
In case you wish to post multiple images, paste the URLs in separate columns as shown below:
You can add up to 10 image files to a post.
What are the benefits of the Bulk Scheduler feature?
If you have a lot of content that's ready to be published, but you're unavailable to publish it regularly, you can use the Bulk Scheduler feature on Zoho Social. This allows you to plan and queue up numerous posts across multiple networks, automating the process of publishing for the specified period of time. So, instead of spending time each day to plan your social calendar, you can allot a few hours to plan and schedule the posts ahead of time and ensure that you're also frequently posting without leaving any gaps.
With the Bulk Scheduler on Zoho Social, you can schedule unlimited posts across all your social channels – Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Mastodon and Threads. All you have to do is upload a .CSV, .XLS, or .XLSX file with the content and the specific date and time you want to schedule your content for.
Why am I unable to publish posts with video attachments through the Bulk Scheduler?
We currently don't support the video upload feature when you schedule posts via the Bulk Scheduler. You can only upload videos to your Facebook Page, Twitter Profile, LinkedIn Page, and Instagram Business Profile from the New Post window.
Is there a way I can shorten URLs for bulk-scheduled content automatically?
Yes, you can automatically shorten URLs by switching the toggle on while you're bulk scheduling. This will be reflected on all the links you add to the file.
Can I link images from Dropbox or Google Drive when I'm using the Bulk Scheduler to publish my posts?
Zoho Social currently doesn't support the usage of cloud storage solutions like Dropbox or Google Drive to post images via the Bulk Scheduler. However, you can use this website to upload and host your images. Once uploaded, click on the image to get a direct link for your Bulk Scheduler spreadsheet. You can then paste the direct link of the image (ending in PNG, JPG, JPEG) to your Bulk Scheduler spreadsheet under the Image URL column.
Also, the .csv or .xls or .xlsx file you upload should include the following information as separate columns:
DATE, CONTENT, LINK URL, IMAGE URL1, IMAGE URL2, IMAGE URL3... until IMAGE URL10, GMB BUTTON NAME, GMB LINK.
You can add up to 10 image files to a post.
