Integrate Telegram with Inbox

To use Telegram from Zoho Social, you can start by creating a bot on the platform and connecting it to Social. You'll then be able to manage your interactions by monitoring and responding to them from Zoho Social's Inbox module. You can also set up quick replies and add them to your messages instantly.
Feature availability
You can integrate Telegram with Zoho Social if you're on the Premium, Agency, or Agency Plus pricing plans.
To integrate a Telegram account with Zoho Social
- Go to Settings -> Integrations.
- Click Connect Telegram.
- Follow the steps on the screen to connect to Telegram.
In the Telegram app, search for BotFather in the chat section.
- If you don't have an existing bot: Click /start -> type an send /newbot. Follow the instructions to create a new bot and obtain the token. Enter the token provided for this bot in the Bot Token field.
- If you have an existing bot: Type and send /mybots, choose the desired bot, select API Token, and enter the token in the Bot Token field.
- Provide a bot username along with the entered bot token.
- Click Connect.


To edit the bot token, hover over the Telegram account under Settings -> Integrations and click Edit Details.
To enable or disable Telegram in Social
- Go to Settings -> Integrations.
- Click the toggle next to Telegram to enable or disable the account in Social.


The enable/disable toggle only enables or disables the interactions inside Social's Inbox. You will still keep receiving interactions on your Telegram account even if you disable it inside Social.
