Adding audio via Zoho Social
Audio is one of the biggest drivers of engagement in short-form video content today. Whether it’s a trending Reel sound on Instagram, a viral TikTok audio, or background music in YouTube Shorts, the right audio can make your content feel more relatable, engaging, and platform-ready.
With Zoho Social, you can now add audio directly to your videos while creating posts and Reels. You can choose audio available within Zoho Social or upload your own audio from your desktop, cloud storage, or Media Library — all without leaving the publishing window.

- Capture attention faster and keep viewers engaged for longer
- Create a stronger emotional connection with your audience through music, voice-overs, or sound effects
- Improve the overall viewing experience and make your content more immersive
How to add audio to your videos in Zoho Social
To add audio to your videos
- Click + New Post to open the compose window.
- Click Attach Media.
- Select the video you want to upload. You can upload your media file from:
- Desktop
- Media Library
- Cloud Picker
- Click Attach to upload the video.
- Hover over the uploaded video thumbnail and click the Audio
icon.
- Choose the audio you want to add to your video. You can either
- Search / Select from the list of audios available in Zoho Social
- Upload your own audio from Desktop, Media Library, or Cloud Picker
- Select the preferred audio
- Click Next to open the Audio Options screen.

On the Audio Options screen, you can
- Trim the audio and choose the exact portion you want to use
- Adjust or mute the volume of the original audio and selected audio track
- Preview the video and audio together before saving
- Click Add audio once you’re done editing the audio.
Notes:
- Audio support is available for all channels that support video publishing with audio.
- The selected audio will automatically play in a loop until the video ends. For example, if your video is 60 seconds long and you trim the audio to 20 seconds, the selected 20-second audio clip will repeat continuously until the full video duration is completed.
- Only one video can be added per post when using audio.
Once you’ve added your audio, you can continue composing your post by adding captions, hashtags, mentions, and other post details. When your post is ready, you can either publish it immediately or schedule it to go live on your preferred date and time.
