Create poll for X and LinkedIn posts

They feel involved and personally connected to your brand by being a part of the poll, and also find it easy to respond. Audiences will be curious about the outcome of the polls, so when the poll is done, don't forget to share the results and spark some more conversations!

You can post a poll depending on the type of response or inputs you wish to receive from your audience for your brand. You can keep posting fresh content, including asking customers about what feature or product they've been waiting for from your brand, opinions about current issues or trends,  and the best time to conduct a customer-facing event or a webinar. You can even conduct market research before launching a product or feature to find out how well it will be received by the audience. These engagement metrics will give you a great idea to start personalizing your brand according to the audiences' preferences.

With the poll feature available on Zoho Social, you will be able to post polls to your X and LinkedIn audience.

Feature Availability

You will be able to create polls on your X and LinkedIn profiles if you're on plans Professional, Premium, Agency, or Agency Plus.

To add a poll to your post 

  1. Click New post in the top-right corner of your Social dashboard.
  2. Choose the desired networks as X and LinkedIn.
  3. Click  to add a poll to your post. 
  4. Add the question for the poll, options for the answer, and the duration for which you want the poll to be live for.
  5. Click Add option if you want to add up to four options to your poll.



  6. Click the Delete icon if you want to delete an added option.
  7. Click Done to add the poll to your post.
  8. Add a relevant caption to your post on LinkedIn. 

  9. Click Post now to publish the poll immediately or schedule it to go live later using any of the available scheduling options.

    You can monitor the results of the poll under the Posts tab. 


It is mandatory to add a minimum of 2 options to your poll.

  1. You can't attach a caption, media or a DM link to your X post if you've already added a poll.
  2. You can't attach any media to your LinkedIn poll post.
