Not every content idea performs the same way. Trial reel lets you test your Instagram reel with a new audience before sharing them with your followers. They are initially shown primarily to non-followers, allowing you to evaluate their performance before deciding whether to publish them to everyone. While a reel is in the trial phase, it is not displayed on your profile grid or shown to your followers in their feed.
Why use Trial reel?
Trial reel helps you:
- Test new content ideas without affecting your existing audience
- Understand how your reel performs with a broader audience
- Experiment with different styles, topics, or formats
- Make informed publishing decisions based on performance
Feature availability
This feature is available on the Professional, Premium, Agency and Agency Plus plans. The trial reel option is displayed only for accounts with more than 200 followers.
