Create project template
A project template in Zoho Sprints provides you the option to reuse project structure. This allows you to save and repurpose a project to build a new project.
Create project template without data
To create a project template:
- Go to the all projects tab.
- Click the Create button dropdown.
- Select the Template option.
- Enter the name of your template.
- Enter a description for the template.
- Select a layout to use for the template. You can use the standard layout or select a custom layout that you've created. The fields listed below will be based on the layout that you select.
- Enter relevant values in the subsequent fields.
- Assign owner and prefix.
- Click the Create button. The template is created and added to the listing page in the Template folder.
You can add more fields to the creation form by creating a new layout with the required custom fields.
After creating the template, the empty backlog will be displayed. You can start adding your work items and sprints.
Click the gear icon and navigate to the Project Settings section to modify the project configurations and add customizations.
