Why should I integrate Microsoft Power BI with Zoho Survey?

Zoho Survey - Power BI streaming dataset integration:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft Power BI account.

2. On the home page of your Power BI account, click on New under My Workspace.

3. Select Streaming semantic model.
   

   
   

4. In the New streaming dataset screen, select API and click Next.

5. Now, enter the Dataset name and other Values from stream.
   
   
   

   Note: Stream values should be named without spaces.

6. Click on the Text dropdown and select the required type of input.

7. Enable Historic data analysis.

8. Click Create.

   
   

9. Copy the Push URL and click Done.

To create Zoho Survey - Power BI streaming dataset 

1. Go to Hub.

2. Under Integrations, click Create/Manage in Power BI Streaming Dataset section.
   

3. Enter the name and paste the copied Push URL under POST URL.

4. Enter values matching as provided in your streaming dataset configuration under Power BI and select the required question from the questions dropdown.

1. To add a new value, click .

2. To remove an existing value, click .

5. Click Save.
   

To sync status under Zoho Survey - Power BI streaming dataset:

1. Open the required Power BI streaming data set and click on Sync Status.
   

2. Under Sync Status:

1. Click on Successful to view the successfully synced responses.

1. Click on  to edit a response.

2. Click on  to view a response.

2. Click on Untried to view the responses that are not synced.

1. Click on Sync to sync a particular response.

2. Click on Sync All to sync all responses.

3. Click on Failed to view the responses that failed to sync.

1. Click on Sync to sync a particular response.

2. Click on Sync All to sync all responses. 

To edit a Zoho Survey - Power BI streaming dataset:

1. Go to Hub.

   
   

2. Under Integrations, click Manage in Power BI section.

3. Hover on the required integration and click . 

To delete a Zoho Survey - Power BI streaming dataset:

1. Go to Hub.

   
   

2. Under Integrations, click Manage in Power BI section.

3. Hover on the required integration and click .

To deactivate Microsoft Power BI integration :

1. You can deactivate Microsoft Integration at any time. Deactivation of the integration does not interfere with the Zoho survey account settings. You can continue to build surveys from your Zoho Survey account. 
   
2. Go to the Manage portal. Hover and navigate to the Microsoft Power BI app under the Apps and Services tab.
   
3. Click the disconnect button, to remove the integration.
   
4. A popup will appear asking what you would like to do with the existing data. Choose the appropriate option and click yes, Disconnect integration.
