Pre-Requisites

Follow the steps below to establish connection with the SMS app of your choice:

To connect with Zoho SMS  service

  1. In the Portal information tab, select on SMS Configuration, and click configure.

  2. Click Enable to start configuring Zoho SMS service.

  3. Click Continue for the Information message to go to the next page.

  4. Add details about your organization.

  5. Then provide the Sender ID info for setting up SMS configuration. 
     
  6. Once the SMS configuration details are added, you can purchase credits and start sending SMS surveys.

To connect with SMS Magic :        

  1. Navigate to Manage Portal by clicking on your profile icon.

  2. Under the Portal Setup section, click the Apps and Services button. 
  3. Navigate to Apps & Services , and click the Connect button on the SMS Magic icon.

  4. In the Create Connection window, enter the name of the connection in the Name textbox.

  5. Then fill in the details :
    1. Select the Domain from the dropdown options.
    2. Enter the API key.
    3. Enter the Sender ID.
  6. Click the Create icon to create and save the account.

To connect with Twilio:        

  1. Navigate to Manage Portal by clicking on your profile icon.

  2. Under the Portal Setup section, click the Apps and Services button. 

  3. Navigate to the list of Apps and Services to find the available SMS Distribution channels.
  4. From the list of Apps, and click Connect button on the Clickatell icon.
  5. In the Create Connection window, enter the name of the connection in the Name textbox.

  6. Enter your Account SID in the Account SID textbox.
  7. Enter the Auth token in the Auth Token textbox.
  8. Enter the Twillio Phone number /Sender ID of your connection in the Phone number/Sender ID textbox.
  9. Click Create icon to create and save the account.

To connect with Clickatell:        

  1. Navigate to Manage Portal by clicking on your profile icon

  2. Under the Portal Setup section, click the Apps and Services button. 
  3. Navigate to Apps & Services , and click the Connect button on the Clickatell icon.

  4. In the Create Connection window, enter the name of the connection in the Name textbox.

  5. Then add the API Key.
  6. Click the Create icon to create and save the account.

Note: You can create and add unlimited connections. You can send up to 1000 phone numbers in a single SMS invite

To manage a SMS distribution connection:       

  1. Navigate to Manage Portal by clicking on your profile icon.

  2. Under the Portal Setup section, click the Apps and Services tab.

  3. Navigate to Apps and Services to manage third party SMS Distribution channels.
  4. Click the Manage button to view, Add, Edit, and Delete connections.

  5. As per your requirement, follow the steps below:

    1. To add a Connection, click Add Connection icon. Then add the necessary information and click Create.
    2. To edit a connection, hover near the connection name and click on the Edit icon to make necessary changes. Then click Save.
    3. To delete a connection, hover near the connection name and click on the Remove (Trash) icon. Then confirm Yes on the pop-up.

Note: Zoho SMS service can only be disabled as only one connection can be added at a time.
