Create Unique Survey URLs Using CSV File Upload

Overview

Upload a CSV file containing respondent details to generate a unique survey URL for each respondent. Share these URLs directly with respondents to ensure each person accesses the survey through their own unique URL.

How to create unique survey URLs using CSV file upload

  1. Go to the Publish tab.
  2. Click Add New Collector.
  3. Under Unique URL Generation, click Create.          
            
  1. Click Continue.
             
  1. Click Browse or drag and drop the CSV file into the upload area.  
            
  1. Once the CSV file has been uploaded successfully, click Generate.
            
  1. The CSV file with the generated URLs will be downloaded to your device automatically. The shortened unique URL for each respondent will appear at the end of each line in your downloaded CSV file. The uploaded CSV data will be saved as the "Respondent Variable" and can be accessed under Individual Responses in the Reports section.
  2. If you need to change anything, click Start Over to restart the URL generation process.
            
 
Notes
Note:
Only CSV files can be uploaded. You cannot upload a CSV file containing more than 1,000 values/entries.
Upload a CSV file with UTF-8 encoding characters to import properly.
The URLs will be generated as shortened URLs. You can generate unlimited shortened URLs per survey.
Respondent data will not be stored during uploading or during unique URL generation.
