Restrict Duplicate Responses

Overview
Prevent respondents from submitting the same survey multiple times. This helps maintain response quality and ensures more accurate survey results.

How to Restrict Duplicate Responses

  1. Select the required survey and click the Builder option from the left pane.
  2. Click the Publish tab. 
  3. Click the required collector or create a new one.
  4. Click Response Restriction from the left pane.
  5. Click Configure.
 
 

Prevent Duplicate Responses 

  1. Select One response per IP address to allow only one submission from a single IP address.
  2. Select One response per device to restrict multiple responses from a single device by using browser cookies. As the survey's metadata is stored in browser cookies, if the respondent clears their browser history and cookies, a fresh survey will be loaded. Any previously submitted survey response (partial/complete) will be considered a different response and not linked to the previously submitted response.
  3. Click Save.
