Zoho Tables MCP

Zoho Tables lets you control who can access portal data through MCP. Use the MCP settings in the Admin Console to enable or disable MCP access and choose which users can access data through MCP.

Who can enable MCP?

Portal Owners and Portal Managers can manage MCP settings from the Admin Console.

How to enable MCP?

  1. Go to My Portals.
  2. Find the portal you want to configure.
  3. Click the More icon next to the portal.
  4. Select Admin Console.
  5. Go to MCP.
  6. Turn on the Enabled toggle.

Once MCP is enabled, you can configure who can access portal data through MCP.

Grant Access

Use Grant Access to control which users can access portal data through MCP.

Under Who can access data with MCPs, you can choose from the following options:

  • Owner — Allows the Portal Owner to access portal data through MCP.
  • Portal Manager — Allows Portal Managers to access portal data through MCP.
  • Portal Users — Allows you to select specific Portal Users who can access portal data through MCP.

When Portal Users is selected, Portal Owners and Portal Managers can choose which users should have MCP access.

  1. Select Portal Users.
  2. Use Select Users to find the users you want to grant access to.
  3. Select the required users.
  4. Click Save.

Only the selected Portal Users will be able to access portal data through MCP.

Save your settings

After configuring the roles or users who should have MCP access, click Save to apply your settings.
