Select Number from the list of field types, by clicking the +icon from the field header.
Choose the Precision value ranges from 1.0, 1.00, 1.000 or None.
Enable/Disable, Thousand separator.
Hit Enter

Note: The precision and thousand separator options are both disabled by default.
