Phone Number

The phone number field type identifies the numbers in the field as phone numbers and hyperlinks it. 

How does it work?

Select phone number from the list of field types, by clicking the + icon from the field header. The field is now ready for phone numbers to be entered.

To customize the format of the phone number,

  1. Click the drop-down arrow next to the field name and click Edit.
  2. It opens up the dialog box. Choose a phone number format from the list of 6 different options.
  3. To add multiple phone numbers to a cell, toggle on Allow Multiple Phone Number option.
  4. Hit Enter.





Clicking the phone number on the cell, will directly connect you with the contact over a call. You may have to choose an application to connect your calls.
