Repeated Selection of Linked Records
You can now select the same linked record multiple times using the Allow Repeated Selection option in Zoho Tables.
How to Enable Repeated Selection
Follow these steps to allow the same record to be selected multiple times in a Link field.
Open the table where you want to add the Link field.
Add a new field and choose Link as the field type.
Choose the table from which you want to link records.
Click Advanced.
Enable Allow Repeated Selection.
Save the field configuration.
How to Select a Record Multiple Times
Once repeated selection is enabled:
Open a record and click the Link field to select a linked record.
You'll see a quantity counter at the top-right corner of the linked record.
Click the + button to increase the quantity, or enter the required number directly.
The linked record will now be associated with the specified quantity.
When Can You Use This?
Repeated selection can be useful for:
Order management: Select products and specify quantities.
Inventory and procurement: Track the quantities of items requested.
Equipment management: Associate multiple units of the same equipment with a request.
Service management: Specify the number of times a service or item is required.
