How to import from Smartsheet
Navigate to the base where you want to add the new table. Click + button in the base to add a new table, and choose Smartsheet from the options.
A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to connect your Smartsheet account with Zoho Tables. Click Continue. You'll then be redirected to the authentication page, where you'll need to enter your Smartsheet API key.
If you don't have your API key handy, here's how to get it:
Log in to your Smartsheet account and click on your profile.
Go to Personal Settings.
Navigate to the API Access section.
Click Generate New Access Token in the top right. A pop-up will display your generated API key.
Copy the API key.
Paste the copied API key into the Zoho Tables authentication page in the following format: Bearer <space> API key (for example, Bearer 9adj4inasdfi4)
Click Connect.
Choose your folder and sheet
Once authenticated, click Choose Folder in the import pop-up window.
From the dropdown menu, choose the Smartsheet folder you want to import from, then click Choose Sheet.
The sheets available in the chosen folder will be listed. Choose the sheet you want to import and click Next.
Choose modules and fields
You'll see a list of modules from your Smartsheet account in the floating window. Select the modules you want to import.
From the chosen modules, select the fields you want to bring into Zoho Tables. Each field will be automatically detected and matched to the appropriate field type in Zoho Tables.
Note: Some field types may not import in the same format as in Smartsheet and will be stored as text fields. You can always change them to the desired field type available in Zoho Tables after the import is complete.
After choosing your modules and fields, click Import. The selected fields from every chosen module will be imported as a new table in your base.
You can track the import progress from the pop-up in the bottom right corner. Once the import is complete, the table will be available directly in your base.
