In this article, we'll see how you can customize the Calendar module according to your preferences.
In Trident, you can view your planned schedules in daily, weekly, monthly, or work-week views. To set any of these as the default view when you open Trident:
You can use the following trackpad gestures to go to the next or previous days, weeks, work weeks, or months. You can also get a zoomed in or out view of the event listings.
Swipe from right to left: To move to the next day, work, or week view.
Swipe from left to right: To move to the previous day, work, or week view.
Pinch in: To zoom out and see the event listings in the day, work, or week views.
Pinch out: To zoom in and see the event listings in the day, work, or week views.
To customize the first day of the week in the Calendar module:
Click your profile image at the top-right corner of the app.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to Calendar > Calendar Preferences.
Select the desired day from the First Day of the Week drop-down option.
To customize the starting and ending days of your work week:
Click your profile image at the top-right corner of the app.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to Calendar > Calendar Preferences.
Select the starting day from the Work-Week Start Day drop-down option.
Similarly, select the ending day from the Work-Week End Day drop-down option.
To customize the starting and ending times of your work hours:
Click your profile image at the top-right corner of the app.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to Calendar > Calendar Preferences.
Select the starting day from the Work Hours Start Time drop-down option.
Similarly, select the ending day from the Work Hours End Time drop-down option.
You can choose to set a default event duration and participant permission, so you need not specify them every time you create an event. To do so:
Note: Even after you've configured the default settings from Settings, you can customize them later while creating an event as required.
