There are two options to customize how you receive Cliq calls under the Cliq Calls section.
Call Window: Always display the call window on top of other system windows while in a Cliq call.
Incoming Calls: Show or hide incoming Cliq calls. When you hide incoming Cliq calls, you will not receive any audio, video, or screen-shared calls in Trident. This option is beneficial if you'd rather attend your calls from the Zoho Cliq web or desktop applications.
To configure these Cliq call settings:
- Click your profile image on the top-right corner of the app.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Cliq.
- In the Cliq Calls section, toggle on or off the Keep Window on Top of Other Windows and Show Incoming Calls options.
Granting Microphone, Camera, and Screen Record Access
If the Cliq module isn't able to access the system microphone, camera, or screen-record to allow you to use audio, video, and screen-share, you must manually grant it access.
To grant Trident access to your device microphone:
- Navigate to your Mac's System Settings app and select Privacy and Security.
- Select Microphone.
- Find Trident and toggle the microphone access on.
- Click Quit and Reopen in the alert dialog box that appears. Or, click Later as you prefer.
To grant Trident access to your device camera:
- Navigate to your Mac's System Settings app and select Privacy and Security.
- Select Camera.
- Find Trident and toggle the camera access on.
- Click Quit and Reopen in the alert dialog box that appears. Or, click Later as you prefer.
To grant Trident access to record your screen:
- Navigate to your Mac's System Settings app and select Privacy and Security.
- Select Screen Record.
- Find Trident and toggle the screen record access on.
- Click Quit and Reopen in the alert dialog box that appears. Or, click Later as you prefer.
Note: These actions will end your ongoing call. You must initiate a new call after quitting and relaunching the app. Then you'll be able to share your screen.
Configuring Cliq Notifications
To enable or disable notifications for chat messages:
- Click your profile image on the top-right corner of the app.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Notifications.
- In the Chat Notifications section, toggle the Enable Notifications for Chat Messages button on or off.
When you have enabled notifications for chat messages, you can further decide if you want to:
- Enable or disable alert sound for chat notifications
- Show or hide message preview for chat messages in notifications
Enabling Read Receipts
To enable or disable Read Receipts, per your privacy convenience:
- Click your profile image on the top-right corner of the app.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Cliq.
- In the Privacy section, toggle on or off the Read Receipts option.
Note: When you disable this option, just as users who send you messages won't receive the Read Receipt, you also won't receive it for messages you send. Using Shortcuts
