Exporting emails from the Mail module folders into zipped files helps create a secure, compressed backup for easy storage and access.
Click your profile image in the top-right corner of the app.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to Mail > Export Emails.
Click Export.
To export emails for your secondary Zoho Mail accounts and other POP/IMAP-configured accounts:
Click the drop-down with the email address listed above the Export button.
Choose the desired account for which you want to create the response.
Click Export.
While exporting, you can set the following configurations:
Select the folder from which you'd like to export the emails.
Choose the time frame for the emails you’d like to export.
Choose whether you'd like to export the emails in the subfolders (if any) and only the archived emails in that folder.
If required, secure the zipped file with a password. Note that the password isn't stored, and hence, if forgotten, the file can't be opened.
On clicking Export, the emails will be queued for exporting. Once done, you can click the Download icon to download the zipped file. After 30 days, it will automatically be deleted.
Notes:
The link to the zipped file will also be emailed to you, and it will be valid for a period of 30 days.
The exported email files are in the .eml format only.
