Editing Notes
To edit a note from the List View:
- Click open the note you want to edit from the list of notes.
- Make the required edits in the Notes Editor and the changes will be automatically saved.
To edit a note from the Grid View:
- Click the note you want to edit from the notes listed in the grid.
- Make the required edits in the Notes Editor preview.
- Click the Tick
icon to save the changes.
You can also:
- Click the Expand
icon to open the Notes Editor in the Grid View in a full window. - Make the required edits in the Notes Editor and the changes will be automatically saved.
Deleting Notes
To delete a note from the List View:
- Right-click the note you want to delete from the list of notes.
- Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.

Alternatively, you can also:
- Open the note you want to delete.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.

To delete a note from the Grid View:
- Click open or hover over the note you want to delete.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.

Alternatively, you can also:
- Click the Expand
icon to open the Notes Editor in the Grid View in a full window. - Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.
Archiving Notes
To archive a note in the List View:
- Click open the note you want to archive from the list of notes.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Archive from the drop-down menu.

To archive a note in the Grid View:
- Expand or pop-out the note you want to archive in a new window.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Archive from the drop-down menu.
Note: You can view all of the archived notes by clicking the Filter
icon in the notes list.
Sharing Notes
To share a note with a colleague or group in the List View:
- Click open the note you want to share from the list of notes.
- Click the Comment
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Click the Add or View Invitees
icon. - Search and select a contact or Streams group or choose a contact from the list of suggestions.
- Click Invite.


Notes:
- You can @mention an individual or group in comments and click the Share
icon to share the note. - You can add emojis and attach files in the comments.
- You can share a personal note with a person or a Streams group as well as share a group note with organizational members who are not part of that Streams group.
To share a note with a colleague or group in the Grid View:
- Click the note you want to share or expand, or pop-out the note in a new window.
- Click the Comment
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor and repeat the same steps as above.

Sending Notes Via Email
You can send the content of a note via email. To do so from the List View:
- Open the note you want to send as an email.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Send as Email from the menu list.
- The Mail Composer will open in a new window with the note title in the subject and the note content in the email body.
- Add the recipients of the email and make any changes as required.
- Click Send in the bottom-left corner of the Mail Composer to send the email immediately or use the Send Later
option to schedule the email for later.

Alternatively, you can also:
- Right-click the note you want to send as an email from the notes list.
- Select Send as Email from the menu list that appears.

To send a note as an email from the Grid View:
- Click or hover over the note you want to send as an email.
- Click the More Options
icon. - Select Send as Email from the menu list.

Restoring Content Versions
You can track your content version history to compare different versions or restore earlier versions as necessary. To do so:
- Open the note for which you want to track the version history.
- Click the More Options
icon in the top-right corner of the Notes Editor. - Select Content History from the menu list.
- A list of options categorized by the date and time of saved versions will appear.
- Select the version you want and it will be copied to the clipboard.
- You can then paste it in the Notes Editor and compare it with the current content to make changes as necessary.

Note: You can track content version history and restore versions only for notes you've created.
