Understanding Search Parameters
The search feature in Trident's built-in Notes has 22 distinct parameters. You can search for notes based on their type and details, associated users, attachment details, and date. Each parameter and its function is described below.

Search by note type and details:
| To list notes that contain the specified text in the note's title or content |
| To list notes with the specified text in the note's title |
| To list notes with the specified text in the note's content |

| To list notes in the specified color |
| To list notes in the specified Streams group |
| To list notes with the specified tag |
| |
| To list notes with hashtags |
| To list notes that were created from an email |
| To list notes with the specified text in the note's comments |
Search by people associated with the notes:
| To list notes created by the specified person |
| To list notes on which the specified person has commented |
| To list notes with the specified invitee |
Search by attachment details:
| To list notes with the specified content in the attachment |
| To list notes based on the attachment file type |
| To list notes with the specified attachment name |
| To list the notes with attachments |
| To list the notes with inline images |
Search for notes by date:
| To list notes created on a specific date |
| To list notes created from a specific date |
| To list notes created up to a specific date |
Note: You can search for notes between a specific date range using the From Date and To Date filters.Searching for Notes
There are three ways to search for notes:
- Begin typing your search term in the search bar and select the relevant parameter from the list that appears.
- Choose the parameter first and then type in the search keywords.
- Include multiple search parameters in the search bar to narrow down the search results.
Note: In the search dialog, you can hit the tab key to shift between the various search parameters listed in one option. Viewing Recent Search Results
The recent search results appear below the search parameters. You can view the five most recent searches that were performed. Clicking on it will display the updated search results.
