Dragging and Dropping Data Using Smart Flow

In this article, we'll see how you can use the Smart Flow functionality to share data across various modules and integrated applications in Trident with a simple drag-and-drop action.

Sharing Files From Cliq to Mail

To share files from Cliq:

  1. Choose the file you want to share.
  2. Select the file and drag and drop it to the Mail Composer.


Notes
Note: The shared file will automatically appear as an attachment in the Mail Composer.

Sharing Files From Mail to Cliq

To share files from Mail:

  1. Choose the attachment you want to share.
  2. Select the attachment and drag and drop it to the Cliq chat box.

Note: The attachment will be shared automatically with the user or group of users.

Downloading Email Attachments to Your MacBook    

To download an email attachment in Trident to your MacBook:

  1. Drag the file you want to download.

  2. Drop it in the desktop or Finder, in the destination of your choice. 


Uploading Files to WorkDrive Widget

To upload a file to WorkDrive:

  1. Drag the file you want to upload.
  2. Drop it in the My Folders view.

Notes: 

  • You can only upload files to the My Folders views. 
  • You can upload files from within Trident and from your Mac using drag and drop.  

Sharing Access to WorkDrive Files

To share access to a WorkDrive file within Trident:

  1. Open the WorkDrive widget in Trident.

  2. Drag and drop the email address or the contact image from the email detail view  (regular emails or Smart Mails) to the WorkDrive file of your choice.


Alternatively, you can also share access to WorkDrive files from the Contacts module:

  1. Open the WorkDrive widget in Trident.

  2. Drag and drop the contact from the list view or their reporting manager from the detail view to the WorkDrive file of your choice. 


Notes

Note: By default the contact will be given View Only access to the file.

Downloading WorkDrive Files to Your MacBook   

To download a file from the WorkDrive widget in Trident to your MacBook:

  1. Drag the file you want to download.

  2. Drop it in Finder, in the destination of your choice. 


Adding WorkDrive Files As Email Attachments

To add files from the WorkDrive widget to your emails as attachments:

  1. Drag the file you want to attach.

  2. Drop it in the Mail Composer.
